ABOUT:
The 2024 Region II Mock Trial will be held on Saturday, February 24th at the Federal Court House beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Teams consisting of high school students from across Acadiana will compete in the Regional Mock Trial. Each team is given case materials that include the statement of the case, facts and background, and descriptions of witnesses for both the plaintiff and defendant and possible exhibits. Mock trials are held in real courtrooms at the Federal Courthouse, where the teams present their cases before a presiding judge, jury of scoring judges, and spectators. Each team will compete in two preliminary rounds, and the top two scoring teams compete in a final round to determine an overall winner.
