About the Staff

Pam Landaiche, Executive Director
 
Pam, who joined the staff in 2018, oversees all administration of the Lafayette Bar Association and Foundation. Previously serving as the LBA’s Events Coordinator, she assumed the position of Executive Director in 2019 with a strong knowledge of the organization’s functionality. Her attention to detail, which stems from her time serving in events management and advertising, allows her to successfully facilitate the day-to-day operations of the organization and its sections. As Executive Director, Pam also maintains and supports the Association and Foundation Board of Directors. With a warm, inviting nature, she generates revenue for the association through fundraising efforts to support existing programs, and she uses her external presence to garner new opportunities and programming.


Marilyn Lopez, Director of Pro Bono Services

Marilyn, who serves as the Pro Bono Director, joined the staff in 2016. She is a highly experienced and dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in pro bono legal services. She oversees the daily operations of the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers Pro Bono Project on behalf of the Lafayette Bar Foundation. With a proven track record of success in the non-profit sector, Marilyn has demonstrated exceptional skills and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Her strategic vision and ability to foster meaningful partnerships have resulted in the successful implementation of numerous pro bono initiatives. She works compassionately with volunteer attorneys to help the underprivileged members of the community receive quality legal services. Marilyn has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She also serves as the liaison to the Lafayette Bar Foundation Advisory Board.

 

 

Catherine Vincent, Marketing Coordinator

With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Catherine oversees all facets of our marketing efforts. From updating our website to maintaining effective member communication, Catherine executes professional, creative, and captivating marketing endeavors. In addition, her position entails designing the Promulgator magazine and coordinating continuing legal education seminars. She also serves as the liaison to the Young Lawyers Section and works closely with the Director of Pro Bono Services in program and services planning. Catherine has proven herself a valuable asset to our team not only for her marketing skills but also on account of her handiness with a screwdriver and her willingness to undertake our small maintenance tasks. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Art History. Catherine is adept at problem-solving, building relationships, and content production. Aside from her professional responsibilities, Catherine enjoys cooking, sewing, and hiking. 

 

 

Amanda Blanchard, Events Coordinator

Amanda is the newest member of the LBA staff, and her primary responsibility is planning and coordinating many LBA member events throughout the year. She works closely with event chairs to ensure that every detail is carefully orchestrated to create memorable events for all in attendance. One of Amanda's key roles is fostering relationships with our members, sponsors, and event speakers. She also serves as the membership coordinator and assists in running our social media. In addition, Amanda is the liaison to the Family Law Section and Criminal Law Section. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she studied Biology and Chemistry. Amanda is skilled in strategic planning, problem-solving, and project management. Outside of office hours, Amanda enjoys playing with her little girl and reading. She is also an active member of Junior League of Lafayette. 

 

 

 

 

Cheryl Robichaux, Administrative Assistant

Since 2019, Cheryl has served the Association and Foundation as Administrative Assistant.  Her many years of administrative experience have well-equipped Cheryl in her management of the Public Law Library and Mediation Center, both located within the LBA office. She is the first friendly face you see upon entering the building, especially when assisting the public as they obtain legal forms. Our Mediation Center clients are familiar with Cheryl’s professionalism and the hospitality she exudes from the time of reservation until the end of their visit. Her role as administrative assistant also includes handling account payables for the Association and Foundation and providing support to the Executive Director. Cheryl has also made the office a warmer place to be by adding her personal touches and flare, displaying festive décor during every season.
