Please join the Lafayette Bar Cares Painting of of the "Lafayette" sign Downtown on Saturday, September 30th beginning at 8 a.m. 

The Lafayette Bar Cares committee of the Lafayette Bar Association was formed several years ago with the intention of serving as the community outreach arm of the LBA.  In connection with Constitution Day, the Lafayette Bar Association sponsored an art contest for local students to visually express what the constitution means to the students in the form of the "Lafayette" sign that is located in Parc Sans Souci. This year’s chair, Mandy Simon, has coordinated with Downtown Lafayette to paint the “Lafayette” sign to reflect the student's art on Saturday, September 30, beginning at 8:00 a.m. We are in need of sponsors for the paint and supplies as well as volunteers to help clean, prime, and paint the letters of the sign.
