In an effort to help Lafayette Bar Association members and their staff who have suffered in the floods, we are working in conjunction with the SOLACE program to distribute small monetary grants to those in need of assistance through the generosity of contributions.
If you have been affected by the flooding, please click the link below and return the application to Flood_assistance@Lafayettebar.org or deliver to the Lafayette Bar Association office. Please direct any questions or pledges to Flood_assistance@Lafayettebar.org.
If any attorneys have suffered flood damage to their offices, the State Bar would like to offer assistance. Please direct all requests to the above email and we will forward to the State Bar.

In light of the recent flooding, we have extended the deadline to submit applications for service as a member of Lafayette Bar Association Board of Directors until September 30, 2016. Board seats are for three year terms. Service as a member of the Board of Directors would include monthly meetings and additional service in connection with the LBA committees or events. We are looking for members with talent, energy and a willingness to serve the profession and the community.
