Real Estate and Transactional Section 1 Hour CLE

This program, presented by Ted Hoyt, tax attorney and real estate tax expert, provides an overview of critical federal income tax considerations affecting real estate transactions, with a focus on planning decisions that must be made before property acquisition. The presentation examines how entity choice—particularly the use of limited liability companies—impacts capital gains taxation, exposure to Social Security and self-employment taxes, and the ability to deduct losses.
