On February 26, 2026, the Lafayette Bar Foundation will provide a free lunch and learn CLE at the Lafayette Bar Association office. This two-hour CLE is organized in collaboration with ALSC. The speakers include Judge Saloom (11:30-12:30pm) from Lafayette City Court and attorney Lauren Kirichkow (12:30-1:30pm) from the Justice and Accountability Center of Louisiana. The subject matter will cover expungements, with a focus on how to fill out the Lafayette City Court expungement forms, what charges can be expungement and time limits, In Forma Pauperis (IFP) litigation, the reinstatement of driver’s licenses, and TWIC card denials for individuals reintegrating into our communities after incarceration.
