ABOUT THIS EVENT
The proper use of a trust account and the handling of client and third party funds is something that is essential to the practice of law but is rarely discussed in law school. LSBA Ethics Counsel, Richard Lemmler, teaches an intensive three hour CLE on the practical and ethical use of Trust Accounts. Open to both attorneys and their office administrators, this course teaches lawyers how to avoid the many pitfalls involved in dealing with client trust accounts. The Trust Accounting Workshop, approved for (3) hours of CLE (2 hours Ethics and 1 hour Law Practice Management), is only $50 and will be held at the Lafayette Bar Association on 2607 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503.
