Louis A. Martinet Legal Society 2019 Academic Scholarship Award

The Louis A. Martinet Legal Society - Greater Lafayette Chapter has a scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors in local parishes. 

The Louis A. Martinet Legal Society – Greater Lafayette Chapter is searching for two graduating high school seniors to grant each with a five hundred dollar scholarship.
  
The applicant must be graduating from a high school in one of the following parishes: Lafayette, St. Martin, St. Mary, Iberia, Acadia, Vermillion, or St. Landry. 

When applying, please keep in mind the need for two references willing to submit a letter of recommendation on behalf of the applicant. Their name, email address, and phone number will need to be shown. 

Do note that a copy of the applicant's transcript with ACT scores are asked to be provided with the scholarship application. Be sure to record GPA based upon the third quarter and ACT scores on the physical application, too. 

For those that have participated in clubs or organizations, take into account the years active and any leadership positions held through appointment or election. 

Lastly, keep in mind that the applicant must be able to summarize how the scholarship, if received, will assist in future educational goals in the college setting. 

In order to be considered for the Louis A. Martinet 2019 Scholarship Award, the application must be submitted by April 19, 2019 through the mail to P.O. Box 2533, Lafayette, Louisiana 70502.
