Holiday Giving Program Donates to Local Charity

The Young Lawyers Section raises funds for The Family Tree

As part of the Holiday Giving Program, donations have been collected throughout the holiday season for The Family Tree Information, Education, and Counseling Center, which provides parenting classes and counseling services for parents and children going through divorce or separation as well as administers the Healthy Start program and Project H.O.P.E.  The Healthy Start program is a free program for expectant mothers and women with children up to two years of age that provides individualized assistance like home visitation, case management, health education, support services, and fun, family-friendly events.  Project H.O.P.E. is a program that strengthens the relationship between children and their incarcerated parents to promote a functional relationship upon the incarcerated parent's release.

The Young Lawyers Section including Jeremy Bazile, Chris Ortte, Carolyn Cole, and Jeremiah Sams presented a check in the amount of $2,484.00 to The Family Tree on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to this wonderful charity, as well as "Thank You" to Committee Chair Jeremiah Sams and Committee Member Jeremy Bazile.
