What is Bench Bar?

The Bench Bar Conference is a three-day conference that offers a variety of Continuing Legal

Education (CLE) courses. Topics for the sessions range in subject, including sessions on

ethics and professionalism. Complete with social events each day, the conference is a valuable

networking experience. You will have the opportunity to build new professional relationships

and meet new contacts, including special guest judges who will be in attendance.

Thursday, September 19th through Saturday, September 21st at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, LA

 

Do I pay for the conference and my hotel room separately?

Unless you are a judge registering for the conference, the answer is YES! You must pay for

your conference registration and hotel room accommodations separately. Rooms are booked

separately to give attendees more flexibility. The registration rates for the conference are

included on the registration form. ONLY payment and registration are to be sent to the LBA.

How do I make hotel accommodations?

How do I register for the conference?

You can register online or by mail. To register online CLICK HERE. To download a registration form, CLICK HEREMail in your registration form along with payment to the Lafayette Bar Association, Attn: Events, 2607 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503. You may also bsubmit your registration by fax (337) 237-0970 or email (pam@lafayettebar.org). Payment can be made in person, by mail, or over the phone. Members can be invoiced.


Refund Policy

After September 5, 2019, conference registration may be transferred to a colleague, but not cancelled or refunded. This can be done by calling the Lafayette Bar office at (337) 237-4700 ext. 103. To make changes or cancel your hotel room, you must contact the Windsor Court Hotel.
