This page contains information regarding the recent flooding in Louisiana. If you have any questions regarding donations, applications for assistance or any other matters that we may be able to help you with, please email or call our staff at (337) 237-4700. The office will be open from 10:00a.m. until 3:00p.m. for the rest of the week (until August 19, 2016), and we will update this page as new information arises.



In an effort to help Lafayette Bar Association members and their staff who have suffered in the floods, we are working in conjunction with the SOLACE program to distribute small monetary grants to those in need of assistance through the generosity of contributions.

FEMA Assistance Activated
 Effective August 16, 2016, the federal declaration for the state of Louisiana has been updated to include the following five (5) Acadiana parishes of Acadia, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry and Vermilion.

Businesses and individuals seeking assistance should register with FEMA by doing one of the following:
