MOTIVATED BY JUSTICE, INSPIRED BY SERVICE

H.E.L.P. Program

The Homeless Experience Legal Protection (H.E.L.P.) Program was founded in November of 2005 after hurricanes Katrina and Rita left so many desolate, without identification and shelter and in need of help. The H.E.L.P.Program helps homeless individuals obtain certified copies of birth certificates to prove their identity when trying to find shelter and apply for jobs. The program is held every Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Monsignor Sigur Service Center located at 401 St. John Street, Lafayette, LA.
