Join us in welcoming Weldon J. Hill, II as he shares his expertise on the current Medicaid Third Party Liability Lien Process. He will also address the provider amendment effective April 20, 2008.

Hill received his Juris Doctorate in 1974 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Upon graduation, Hill joined Joel B. Dickinson & Associates in Baton Rouge. From 1977– 1993 Hill worked as a solo practitioner in areas including collections and corporate law. In 1993 he became partner at Roedel, Parsons, Koch, Blache, Balhoff & McCollister as managing partner of their newly formed Collections Division.

Hill is currently an Attorney Supervisor with the DHH Bureau of Legal Services. In 2005, he joined the legal staff at the Department of Health and Hospitals and has become a very valued and respected member of the Medicaid Third Party Liability Recovery and Recoupment Section.
