The ideal candidate for a Legal Assistant/Secretarial position with this well-established dynamic Acadiana Area Law Firm will have a minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on experience with maintaining organization in the coordination of document collection, filing and calendaring so as to maintain proper order to all client matters and files. This legal assistant /secretarial position will be responsible for supporting a designated attorney and paralegal, and will be an integral part of the firm’s personal injury team. Qualifications
This position requires experience with summarizing medical records, expense tracking and calendaring, as well as general correspondences, filing, and answering phone calls. Seeking a candidate with a high level of motivation and professionalism, who is detail oriented, organized, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements include the ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy office environment. Prior experience with legal client management software, such as Amicus, is a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook is essential.
